Multimeter Basics

9 AM - 10:30 AM

Beginner Difficulty

This class will cover how to use a multimeter and what to use it for. Topics include circuit basics and continuity/resistance related to appliance electrical troubleshooting.


Appliance Electrical

10:30 AM - 1:00 PM (includes lunch)

Beginner Difficulty

One cannot be an effective appliance service technician if basic concepts are not fully understood. Everyone understands that electricity makes an appliance work. This course provides a simple and direct approach to the fundamentals of electricity related to the operating functions of refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, clothes dryers, dishwashers, and gas and electric ranges.


HVAC: Electrical Troubleshooting

1:00 PM - 5 PM

Advanced Difficulty

This class employs wiring diagrams and illustrations along with detailed descriptions of 15 specific electrical system problems.


Each attendee must bring a multimeter for the class. If someone doesn't have one, please reach out to james@gcnkaa.org

Join us for a packed day of great electrical maintenance training!

You may register for a half or full day. The beginner level sessions will take place in the morning and the advanced session in the afternoon.

A lunch break will be included for any full day attendees.
